Rules & Constitution
Official rules, league structure, roster settings, scoring and competitive standards for A Game of Inches.
League Overview
Welcome to the A Game of Inches Dynasty League Constitution. The rules below are intended to guide league play and provide a framework for resolving disputes.
The overall goal of the league is to remain competitive, fair, and enjoyable for all managers.
Executive Committee
The Executive Committee is responsible for resolving disputes that are not expressly covered by this constitution.
The committee consists of the three commissioners and two rotating general members selected during the offseason. Any member directly involved in a dispute must recuse themselves from the decision process.
Owners are encouraged to submit suggestions and concerns, but the Executive Committee's final decision on league disputes is binding.
League Setup
A Game of Inches consists of 12 teams split into 3 divisions of 4 teams each.
The regular season consists of 14 games. Each team plays every other team at least once and plays each divisional opponent a second time.
The league uses Dynasty, Superflex, Tight End Premium and IDP scoring with a six-team championship playoff.
Rookie Draft
The rookie draft takes place after the NFL Draft and before the start of the NFL regular season.
The draft consists of seven rounds and includes rookies only.
Picks 1–6
The first six picks are determined by reverse order of the teams that did not qualify for the championship bracket, based on regular-season record.
In the event of a tied record, the team with the higher regular-season Points For is considered the better team and receives the later draft pick.
Picks 7–12
The final six picks are determined by reverse order of the final Championship Bracket standings.
The League Champion receives the 12th overall pick.

Managers may rebuild their rosters, but intentional tanking, collusion, intentionally losing games, or dropping star players in a manner that damages league integrity is prohibited.
The Executive Committee may adjust a lineup or impose penalties when a team is determined to be inactive or acting in bad faith.
